A fine matched set of William Marples and Sons Electrician turnscrews. The blades hardened and tempered the whole of length; 10", 8", and 6" blades. Octagonal boxwood handles. These are early for this form (produced from 1880's and still catalogued in 1950's). Beautiful original uncleaned condition; 8" driver has remains of original decal and handle impressed with W.Marples and Sons, Hibernia and the 6" on blade with W. Marples and Sons Sheffield. Both marks denote a pre 20th century manufacture. Condition is simply superb and very rare to find a set.
