I am Cherie from the School of Business & Law at the University of Canterbury. As a part of my Masters' research project, I am inviting you to take part in a study titled: "Investigation of Patients' Health-seeking Behaviour in Digital Healthcare Services". The aim of this study is to understand individuals' intentions to use online medical consultation. Consider the following vignette of an online medical consultation:
An individual is scheduled for a medical appointment with a general practitioner (GP). Close to the scheduled appointment time, the individual logins into a video conferencing application on a laptop. Simultaneously, in a different physical location, the GP joins the consultation at the appointed time. The individual subsequently sees and talks to the GP about their health concerns - without leaving the comfort of home.
